Okay but this is claim is not true if it means ā€œhearing an auditory hallucination is not what schizophrenia is (disregarding May and obviously she’s not)ā€. Its part of it

I had a really close schizophrenic friend and i learned a ton about it from her. People with it have blank and unemotional faces and the intonation of their verbal speech is constantly flat even in times when its not appropriate. She got a lot of both visual and auditory hallucinations. A lot were nasty. Some were pleasant like a beautiful cat on her bed or a sakura tree
