Yeah maybe. The character designs also changed slightly, and I think some voice actors but not sure. The pilot felt more gritty / adult to me. Alastor sounded scarier. Post pilot he lost his dread, I felt, and some characters felt more cartoonishly drawn to me, like Charlie

pilot also is def the best episode. feels the most “indie” as well. honestly it definitely got worse as it went on I feel because ep2 is my 2nd favorite episode
