i’m thinking of doing the lowest monthly payment because it’s very likely i’ll qualify for PSLF (plan on working for a non-profit hospital)
will also likely be in a high cost of living place

me and you both. im so fucking glad i managed to get through college without having to take out loans. it took fucking forever, but i did it and im debt free atm which is mostly just through luck and circumstances.

the only advice i can give on the loans front (which sucks) is to be super vigilant about them trying to fuck you because they will try to fuck you. my sister tried to pay her offs when she came into a big chunk during her divorce, and they rejected every payment that would clear it off and like just kept trying to fuck her over even when she’d make progress it was insane. it’s absolutely intentional too. like genuinely do your due diligence in every interaction.
