For me personally because I’d be kind of be a weird kid. All the socializing I was doing was online and it really felt great, I was in spaces that I thought were pretty friendly, even though I did not even know english half the time.

tbh i think if not for the internet id be in a much worse place

i got an actual outlet to look at and engage in things i was super interested in. Maybe i wouldnt have been interested in them if not for the internet but I was and it was the ONLY place where i could express that and not be seen as like, a weird loser kid (which i am but it still hurt to be treated like that)

To add to this point, I was exposed to several medias that were so fun and I think were good for me to imagine things.

Anyways, it also made me good with knowledge, if I wouldn’t have internet, I might have ended up a fully antisocial homophobic christian whatever

i was a weird kid with emotional problems but i remember being so persistent people would hang out anyway
the bigger problem i was a year younger than everyone , smaller and weaker so when we played games i sucked and id get mad so no one wanted to play with me
