it would be safer to target the abdomen where the spiders could spread out in every direction freely and the only issue is bites (pick a nonlethal breed)

BTW here’s a tip for those who have a bad 1st night sleep while travelling. Try booking a hotel room in the same hotel chain if possible. Your brain won’t think it’s a new location and do the 1st night of uneven sleep.
