imo that statement is a staple of lazy/bad village play
youāre focusing way too much on solving players via their ranges as opposed toā¦ killing wolfy players
like obv u dont ignore meta on players you know but leaning too much into it leads intoā¦ that philosophy lol ā meta is a supplement, not an ends all be all (ok sometimes it might be)

I remember at some point Gorta complained that he was getting scumread (as town) for giving reads and explaining them and that heād just refuse to give reads and explain them next time he randed wolf
