Thinking about that time my friend told me only that he had to meet with the school office because he “broke school rules” and I was terrified he’d committed egregious academic dishonesty/an actual crime and was gonna be expelled but it turns out he just covered up the smoke alarms in his dorm room and had to write an essay about it.

I think I would be less disappointed if they committed an actual crime
I mean he was smoking (cigarettes) in there which is an actual crime under 21 I think
I’m pretty sure they thought I was hitting on them when I was literally thinking about “what’s the most ridiculous thing I can say in response to someone telling me to call them if I ever needed to be hyped up”
