we used the taylor series expansion for e^x to get the formula for e^i*theta

only the easy ones though and usually any messy details are handwaved away

Every time he mentions a derivation we all try to convince ihm tha twe very badly want to see the derivation and itās just so very interesting to us (he delays the homework if his lectures take too long)

I finally spoke up in his class recently and it was to say āyou spent a long time doing algebra there but you couldāve done way faster since it was a difference of squares, is there a reason for that?ā and the answer was No difference of squares works. And he thanked me for saying this instead of killing me on the spot
nyaaaaaaa are your classes all in lecture halls
This is in aclassroom instead of a lecture hall. The split is:
- Organic chemistry - large and very noisy lecture hall everybody is always talking
- Chemistry major lab for chemistry majors - thereās like ten of us itās a classroom then a lab
- ODEs - classroom, people odnāt come to lecture
because the professor isntā very good at teachingso heās always begging us to ask questions - Physical chemistry - classroom
- ACalc - in one of those in-between classrooms thatās kind of like a lecture hall. The professor teaches from a pit like a lectur ehall. But thereās a lot of desk space and the occupancy numbers are more like a classroom
all my classes are in, like, normal-ish rooms
so thereās 30 people max per section
this means that itās easy to ask questions (and some professors will cycle through the class and every student will get asked something)
many sections have way less
my real analysis class is only 15 people
Itās a small class but heās not that good at noticing you have questions and Iām not ver good at asking quesinos
