Dissonant notes, minor keys, compression, a sort of vibrating-around notes (like accidentally putting an electric toothbrush to bone), all of these have crunchy to me. Dissonant colours do, too - if you mix contrasting oaints and they get muddy then thatās crunchy to me

Texture can also be crunchy. And when your nose gets clogged in a specific weird way and speaking makes your face vibrate uncomfortably.
