it’s definitely hard to add artificially (which is why I’m so bad at it)
but also thbthbthtbhtbhtb I also had to add a sane response to “what’s up” artificially, and it was ~fine once I got used to it

issue was I would tend to just awkwardly say “hi” because I had not realized “what’s up” was a filler phrase and not a literal question of “what interesting things have recently happened to you”
