i heard of neg as a quizbowl term before i heard of it as a pickup artist term. the quizbowl term is still my first thought

but the quizbowl term for cheating that no one actually knows the origin of is still my first instinct when i think of biking, so my brain is unfortunately just rotted to the core

it mostly stems from online, when people just googled. but people have gotten illegitimate access to the packet beforehand during in person tournaments
