this reminds me of a weird thing my brother does

whenever weā€™re rarely together (usually during stuff like christmas) something gets him mad, he makes a rude remark, then chuckles right after like it was a joke

Iā€™d hesitate to be so rude to anybody but benguined but I have literally taken him on a google maps tour of my hometown so he has the power to retaliate if I get too out of line. So I donā€™t have to worry about it

I believe the idea that, like, not everyone is going to naturally improve significantly just by playing the game

but also if youā€™re interested in actively improving your townplay, you probably are willing to do more than just playing the game

There was a game where Alice Liddell told me to my face my wolf tell and told me humans cannot change their behaviors that easily and that I would just do it anyway. I was a wolf. I mocked them that game by explaining why it was wrong and then fooled them by changing that behavior and win. Humans arenā€™t robots with fixed stats.

wrt chess: I find doing tactics puzzles is a much faster way to improve than just playing it (at least, this was true when I was bad and hadnā€™t done any tactics puzzles)
