Clicking on an @ directed towards a user in a post summons the outbox associated with that user, making it easy to consult miscellaneous details such as their preferred pronouns. It is obvious that this would be somewhat useful to have work on the Editor’s post preview.

deffo a sensible idea but might be difficult to make work on this site due to how our hosting provider works with respect to editing that kinda thing
will keep an eye out and see if we can’t find a plugin that would do this, frankly now that you’ve pointed it out I’m surprised it’s not just How That Works tbh
