suddenly realized I have spamposted way too much…I will try to inactive a bit and go to bed or something unless people want to talk or whatever
i have a meeting for 2 hours and then people start talking so much. sighs.
anyway going back a little further because i’m a silly person and responded very quickly to some areas during the meeting (bad listener! but i was a presenter so it’s okay) so i’ll go back a bit more carefully
hindsight look, I don’t like the immediate out but also like. i suppose there’s no point in keeping this hidden either
(oh and for the record I am NOT the neighborizer so as much as I would like to self preserve by asking for meow to not be in the hood I have zero say)
I have since received a little prod in my rolecard which informed me that I had misinterpreted a particular word in my roletext and in fact it was intended to be loud. me when.
yeah it was worded in a way where i don’t think i would have known if it was not pointed out to me
aww tyy
not a horrible choice but #iwillforeverbeparanoidaboutdiabecausei’velikeneverseenthemlosebeforejoiningfol
i’ve claimed -ev before as mafia, i think that one game i claimed miller and was mafia (was that the game you ran) so like claiming -ev means nothing to me in terms of anything really
i like this train of thought tbh
Meow does tend to sheep quite a bit yeah the only game where i really felt like i could tell she was mafia was like (d2-ish of grande idea–but tbf i wasn’t even fully following through on that) I’m not very good with the meta thing and the ash meta also failed me recently so i just think i suck at meta. unless you’re talking vc voice meta.
I do like trying to be literate yk
it doesn’t if it did i would be a little alarmed at the power of the role
yes & thank you
i have a note about this – retrospective reading since i skimmed suuuper quick but i’ll return to comment on this in a sec
hello i’m here why am i evil again
i’m done being 3p after last game also i wouldn’t repeat that
haha love this
It’s not my hood! I didn’t make it!
REALL
if i could i would but i cannot
to clarify this i was willing to follow along the 2-person hood being one town and one mafia would be really wild so i’ll give a mech greenier look to dia, but of course after beancat joined all trust goes out the window
if i see the words monty hall again i will crumble into ashes and dust
i’m not adding you!! and yes i can verify there are 3 ppl in the hood
eeops did not mean to reply to beancat sorry
oh GOD I SPENT 15 MINUTES WRITING THAT i need to do work now bye
i talk and then everyone shuts up :(
carbon what r ur reads
err great question i’m just going to throw you quickly my gut answers (my wrong gut, usually of). well i also don’t do d1 reads and i stand by that but whatever
carbon
meow
soweli
gummy
jarek
chomps
should resolve? maybe? : dia/bean
didn’t talk a lot so far: leafia, kii
backreading beancat, and I actually really like these posts
Summary
this ^ is her second post of the game. it’s very straightforward, very direct. can’t pinpoint why I like it, maybe because it doesn’t feel overexplain-y? but her -EV-hunting is really consistent, so if she’s mafia, this was planned and serves some sort of greater purpose?
this also feels very direct, lack of feeling like she has to justify it. I could see myself posting something like this if I didn’t want to outright out a neighborhood but soft it
feels like a real thought
does really seem like she has a mech reason of some sort for this, which I feel is more often from town. like it’s not that mafia won’t do it, but it’s usually more trouble than it’s worth & I don’t know if beancat is that type of player
so now I feel weird about how much push beancat was getting (from myself included), and don’t know how to feel about that. also chomps said he townread beancat but is still voting her. that seems in-character for chomps though.
jarek was one of the pushers (along with like soweli?), so now I am vaguely unsure about him, but maybe it’s more that I don’t understand the trains of thought too well
Summary
first part feels kinda towny, it reminds me of jarek in the madoka game in that jarek seems to be the type to advocate caution/guaranteed results over being too hasty and committing entirely to one theory
but I guess my read does matter a lot on whether the neighborhood really is pure or not, since if it’s not pure, this feels less good.
and now after reading beancat, I don’t really think her instant jumping felt that suspicious, so I like that part less. but I was also townread beancat the least earlier, even after she had said all that, so it could just be warped perception due to memory fading like me
did jarek ever elaborate why carbonated felt more clear than the other two?
I was working under the assumption the neighborhood was just an intrinsic part of each player’s role though, are you assuming otherwise bc beancat didn’t show up until midway? (wouldn’t that imply beancat isn’t the creator?)
also can you explain why you think it’s more likely the owner would be the evil?
dia always posts well for me (they have a very cozy pocket). so I think they sound fine to me, and I’m just applying a slight mental filter to constantly remind myself that they could be evil
Summary
saying that, this first post kinda raises my dia red flags because dia feels very aware that they will need qbcord’s support for…something. this is probably partial confirmation bias from last game when they pocketed me with townreading me, and I’m just paranoid
this feels genuine like I was saying earlier though
I don’t know how to feel about dia thinking the anticlaim is a kill or assuming that someone outing the neighborhood would be enough for the anticlaim (would it be?)
this felt genuine
this also feels genuine but could come from any alignment
kinda feel like these are fine. maybe hedging, but I do far worse, so I’d be a hypocrite here
@iamagummybear this bit is what I was referring to earlier by the way
my current tinfoil here is that dia could be mafia whose neighborhood passive mentions something specifically like “you cannot anticlaim the other members of the neighborhood” or something.
uhh carbon I just don’t want to read can I defer my read on her to whatever gummy says. everything she’s done just feels nai for me. I have bad vibes about how she has apparently been paranoid of dia and is citing that as her main reason to vote them without more elaboration because that’s how she treated me in the last game we played (she was 3p not mafia, to be fair. as mafia she just townread me all game despite me literally telling her I visited the n1 kill). that being said, you probably have also been able to tell that all of qbcord has a healthy paranoia of dia, so. nai again.
…edit: I just saw that carbon is townreading me, it’s over. the carbon stocks are going down (stop I’m not falling for this…)
=== very short response to carbon’s longpost
this is very nai
yeah, this was my game. straight up claiming miller is different than a vague “-EV” though. I don’t know what my point is, I just felt like responding
=== vaguely where I’m at and probably wrong. genuinely might go carbon over dia if I had to vote right now because dia I usually assume will get nightkilled, while carbon is just constant poe for me. but given neighborhood situation, mafia probably just never shoots into it, so not a good heuristic I guess
soweli… - haven’t really said much, but soweli is the towniest person to me so far, and it’s only maybe because she posted a lot
vague townleans: gummy / chomps / beancat ?
dia / carbon
totally low postcount bias, sorry: jarek
haven’t posted much: leafia / kirruma
meowww ur really gnna make me iso too
not today i must pset and i feel quite ill
carbon is scummiest as town remember that when i poof
I think I’ll be kinda busy tomorrow. and then I will be very sparsely around the following day. should be able to catch the last 30ish min of EOD
why are you townreading me.
postingn feels good and natural mostly
why am I higher than soweli or gummy or chomps
They clearly have an extra ability in the +1 Vote that they don’t seem confused or concerned about at all, so if I believe the hood creator is likely to be the evil one as it would be their entire role carbonated wouldn’t be it.
Assuming the hood is just part of everyones abilities, well those three people are very powerful as they have 2 abilities in one, for some reason.
i saw one post i liked from you and it stuck with me
chomps is my second voter
granted it doesn’t always work but hey it did last game
I wouldn’t tend to think of ‘being in a hood’ as an ability (but also having multiple abilities isn’t abnormal, in uo2 i was bodyguard with conditional doublevote for example
