it fills me with joy to kill mafia personally
i should play tos again
i miss the good old days when it was free and basic
has much happened in the neighborhood? specifically in the realm of ‘making you think one of the other two is mafia’
what if i was mafia
well are you mafia?
oh wait someone already claimed the hood? i didn’t read properly
in case it wasn’t clear i have 2 hoodmates and I doubt both are clean
nothing rly has happened to set me off either way in the hoodcord
no, not even neutral

Assuming the reasoning doesn’t extend beyond what dia gave?
what
joke
bold of you to assume that i have any towards you :)
I don’t mind this actually
Pointless to verify but I can confirm
i agree with dia’s reasioning which is why i want d1 to be a thunderdome between the other two
ah then it shouldn’t really matter! but i would shed at least one tear.
do you have any reads going at the moment
… why not beancat?
on a really-unrelated-but-unfortunately-timed note (particularly with the claim of the hood)
UNVOTE
beancat town for wanting to kill in the neighbourhood i can buy the paranoia
I am also giving Carbonated a bit of a pass since ive read them very wrong on a previous game
okay originally I was going to say I liked beancat less than I liked dia/carbon. but then I realized beancat has posted since, and now I kinda feel about the same on all of them:
beancat claiming a -EV role off the bat, which feels less mafia-like (easily subverted I know)
I liked dia outing the neighborhood if they are actually immune to anticlaim, I feel like it just gave more info to work off of early/clarifying why beancat and carbon were posting like that, a bit. I don’t know how I feel about them doing it without like, consulting the other two, but like whatever that’s just personal playstyle for me
carbon using a double vote d1 vs any other day seems less optimal for mafia, unless there were restrictions on the double vote, and she was incentivized to use it d1. but if she figured she’d be in a thunderdome, then I can see it. also it just hit me that carbon is in a neighborhood again
I mean if you’re mafia you also generally want to kill in the neighborhood, right? both because it is a relatively standard inference to make that the neighborhood isn’t pure but it also is a good way to get targets that you don’t need to provide full reasoning for before either dying or pivoting to “oh the neighborhood must’ve been pure”. It would depend on your estimation of how the game goes but if you die then the other two people are soft-cleared
In particular i’ve been put off by beancat’s posturing of “we need to resolve in dia/carbonated” because while yes mechanically true from beancat’s (claimed) perspective is not really how it works from my end & it comes by to me as trying to sneak by (even though I’m aware this is probably just my personal bias on town-perspective-claiming)
idk my impression would be mafia would conserve their ability to have a private chat with town to spew their agenda freely onto them
pushing for just a neighbourhood is towny beacuse its self destructive and you end up with a lot of suspicion on you after you flip someone you pushed
