If the role said “MAFIA SMILING GOLEM” you’d be immediately suspicious no matter how beneficial the effects were. I don’t see how it being a neutral makes it any better personally.
Look at the effects. Do you see any negative effects for the town? Also, it’s probably only neutral because it isn’t a player account that’s controlling it.
It’s neutral just the sake of parity reasons most likely.

Not necessarily. Because Zone did mention that something would be joining the game somewhere. It might’ve been in signups and even if a mafia player was behind it which I highly doubt, it being around is protown to the beast of our knowledge. We have no reason to believe otherwise as of right now.
