For the record, I don’t quite understand what Zorvo is saying at this point, though I am not so much of a coward as to say I never will, but from what I’ve seen so far, he’s clearly working to achieve knowledge here.

When I played with him as wolf in Starcraft, he sure stuck around in thread, talked, and noted some reads down, but it didn’t feel like he was an active participant in the game trying to provoke anything, just an observer making… well, observations, and seeing if he could get any suspicions to stick on someone.

Because of that stark difference in playstyle, and the fact that doing incomprehensible shit for reactions is townie no matter who’s doing it, I soft townread him for now, though given I was suspecting him on and off all game specifically because I noticed this tell, it’s not anything definitive; I think that, upon randing wolf after Starcraft, Zorvo’d specifically avoid repeating the exact tells he got called out on in that game - people are learning, changing beings, and so a distinctive opposite of someone’s last wolfgame can also be a tell.

^ That was all one sentence. I was going to make it longer, but I do want to value communicating actual mafia game information over the bit and I was running up against that barrier.

After a near-identical opening to Eliza’s, I soft read those two as not W/W, though Lemon specifically noted needing to catch up, so maybe she just… didn’t read? I think a wolf would read, though, and lie about not reading. So I think the read still stands.

I think that, if there’s wolves in thread right now, at least one is probably trying to look like a bit of a tryhard. That probably means Zorvo, who I currently TR, Atlas, and Arete. For the sake of beautiful, wonderful, fleeting earlygame confidence, I will discount the possibility of Zorvo being a wolf. I wouldn’t go as far to call the latter two not W/W, it’s entirely possible IMO, but I think if they are, the third wolf probably hasn’t posted yet? Or is Phraze.

Out of the two, I think Arete is the more likely wolf, as their opening Q&A was free “content” without content and Arctic is engaging with my earlygame reads exactly how I want people to - giving proper reactions to them, pushing others to interact with them, that sort of thing. That’s an easy pocket, so Arctic’s town for now. I don’t know why the brain machine won’t give Arete the same credit for doing something quite similar, but it won’t, so that’s how things are.

The best I can give right now is that the Aleph vote seems very policy-y, but that could equally be the result of a wolf not wanting to make subjective calls or a townie in an unfamiliar environment. Her scumread on me feels natural and I don’t really have many thoughts about it - same deal, could be wolfy, could be unfamiliarity with everyone else. I did the same thing to Misty when she invited me here (except she was a wolf).

As town, Otter plays a lot like I do - lots of pushing various theories to see what works, funnie random accusations early on, that sort of thing. It’s been a while since I’ve played a proper mafia game on the server we play in (every day I am owned by getting N1ed and randing 3P and weird experimental games). She’s a very flexible wolf who tends to pay a lot of attention to avoiding her previous tells and has owned me many times.

They don’t have the vibe of super wolf-pushed misexecutions to me.

Magnus made some mildly suspicious comments that I jumped on and hard focused, for example, and Zorvo was a big driver behind the Eliza wagon and I think he’s a villager.

It feels like we’ve been tearing ourselves apart and the wolves have been letting it happen - I’d look more carefully at people on vanity wagons and counterwagons (which obviously is a bad mark against me lmao but I’m willing to say it, I have an excuse [you don’t have to believe my excuse] [it is still true though]).

If Zorvo is actually a wolf, props to him for having such varied wolfgames, and I’m willing to take that L if the time comes for it.

This is the point in May’s ISO where I’m starting to see what Arctic described as agenda. Now I’m solidified in thinking May/otter is a V/W pairing given how May talks about otter here. May is also… weirdly confident about some reads, and while I know they do fake some reads, it’s impossible that they faked all of them. I know they were far more scatterbrained and worldbuildy last time I played with them and they were town, this time it feels more like they’re doing some deliberate thread maneuvering. Their only townreads all game have been Jarek and Zorvo and this is just not enough.

I’m sosososo sleepy and cannot build the worlds in my head high up. Auhoughoughh etc etc et al.

I tried to force myself into doing better construction by placing that vote on Lemon last night - I picked someone random that I thought would get a good reaction and tried to force tomorrow me into a position where I had to justify myself, which would make me interact with the game. Unfortunately, having noted that I did this in my rolecard means the whole “forget you picked her arbitrarily” impossible.

I had voted Lemon the night before to force myself into playing the game - it was an intentionally bizarre vote (Lemon was one of the most universally townread people at the time) that I wanted to put down to back myself into a corner and force myself to justify it.

Unfortunately, that littol trick on myself didn’t work, and I mostly just AFKed the rest of the day - I had a meeting that ran over and it threw off my mental schedule, also I was very sleepy.

I planned to mention why I’d placed that vote and change it afterward, but I just… forgot. I shouldn’t have done it, terrible townplay, but also I would have no reason to do it as wolf either, so. We do a little throwing

You’re a villager, that means Zorvo’s tunneling town, that means I should look for distinctive interactions with him, would be my first instinct. Ugh that’s so annoying to find I looked for a few minutes but I couldn’t. Well I’m taking Zorvo and Jarek as town, that leaves Arctic/Lemon/Molly/Prisma/Marl. They’re leaving you and Zorvo alive to tunnel each other presumably… kills all check out as #1 priority, I don’t see anything strange there… hm. Any wolfteam here without Arctic in it is quite slanky, not sure if they All do that? Prisma makes sense as a wolf with Arctic. Lemon/Molly/Marl, hard to say betweenem. Bheavior on subseuqent days wouldbe the question. Ok that’s all the effort I’m putting into the question

Was it you or was it Lemon? You occupy the same space in my brain. It was one of you who’s as saying my behavior was reasonable because I am sick and you didn’t suspect me and didn’t like arguments placed in my direction, which is not a townread, but it is a nullification of a scumread, which has the same effect on a game.

The game state being what it is with likely TvT stuff happening most of the game points that most wolves would likely be in his exact position

I havebeen trying to do that for quite some time but it is not hte easiest thing in the world because my brain is not working. Correctly. And unfortunately the game is sticky enough at this point where I can’t lightly case a wolf and see what comes out of it for the Learning Experience which makes hte pressure worse. SAD. i feel like generally the interactions between the two feel incredibly forced (which like, is not really something i’d attribute to personality because neither lemon nor may seem to have an artificial posting style), most notably this interaction

there are a lot of other random mentions and joking around which probably don’t mean anything

lemon ends with a townread on may from one of her iso walls (this is not indicative in itself, i am writing this to explain why her next behaviours are ??)
