can you run through an interaction of how these abilities would work, in the way an almanac does?
doesnāt this feel a little hard to play around with provided there are evil travellers?
if legion players are pushing for a novomane world, couldnāt they all be asked to surrender by the Townsfolk, thus disproving that world?
The Heliolater has learned Amelia, the Seedsman and Atlas, the Abumbrella. Amelia publicly guesses that Gummy is the Demon, and that good will win. Amelia is wrong, so nothing happens. Atlas publicly guesses that May is the Demon and that evil will win. May is the Demon, so evil wins.
On the first night, the Mind Reader chooses potatocat. Potatocat is the Rogue, so the Mind Reader learns potatocat wants to hear multiple players claiming the same character, because they think they can pinpoint the Demon this way. On the second night, the Mind Reader chooses beancat, who is the Night Owl that learned that a player she trusts is likely evil. The Mind Reader learns that beancat wants to hear an Early Bird is in play, because she does not believe her information.
If the Abumbrella dies, the Demon is prompted to make their choices as if they knew they were the Demon. So if the tricked good players realize that they should be acting as the Demon by now (or they just die somehow), they can find the truth. Or just do the same shenanigans as solving for a Marionette, either or.
As for the travelers themselves just keep in mind your Demon might not know the truth, the non-Abumbrella Minions have to do that too.
A few hitches
If itās not Legion you could cause an accidental resignation into a loss. In an actual Legion game, the threshold for āmost good playersā is very low, so if the actual Townsfolk are split they can cause a loss. Lich makes it look like the resignation failed.
So if the town wants to play with fire they kind of can but they risk just losing outright

i swear i had this traveller in a game before. or at least this ability.
I remember a phone ringing in a 1 night Botc game. me picking it up and then me being sucked into another thread where i was trapped and turned into a cognitohazard
