Does this means this minion controls the Demon good character abilities as well, or only the kills?
they control the Demonâs real ability - they donât actually have the good character they think they do
Thatâs the old Hannibal version in Fall of Rome, where the minion/s controlled the night kill.
With abumbrella in play, do the other minions (if any) learn who the Demon is?
What happens if Doppelgänger learn Abumbrella? The Abumbrella need to kill blindly?
Can Helio learn only âthe Demonâ? (if the ST wants to be a meanieâŚ)
How does the Lich + Novo interaction works? (good team gives up, and the game continues?)
Does the Demon even have any ability (beside killing) if there is an Abumbrella in play?
of course they do - they have the ability of the kind of Demon they really are. itâs just that while the Abumbrella is alive, the Abumbrella handles all the night choices the Demon would make. once the Abumbrella dies and their ability becomes inactive, the Demon acts completely as nomal - and puts together that they were the Demon the whole time pretty quickly.
the Minions do learn who the Demon is
yep, if the Doppelganger blinds the Abumbrella, they need to kill blindly
it absolutely can, yes
the game continues for one day, exactly the same as any other evil wincondition being triggered. this, of course, looks exactly like a Legion trying to trick good into resigning
so, to clarify, an Abumbrellaâd Eodinai still alters the setup effect (although only the Abumbrella gets the clue), an Abumbrellaâd Comediarch still needs a Townsfolk to be executed first before they can die, and an Abumbrerllaâd Novomane still makes it so good can only win by resigning
Legion and Abumbrella cannot and should not both be in play at the same time.
Can the Howl become an Abumbrella? (Does it try to make the Demon believe, that from now on they are a good character?)
the Howl can become anything if theyâre convincing enough, and if the Storyteller thinks itâs a good idea to let them become that character.
it tries to make them believe, but thatâs pretty unilikely to actually work - however, it does give the Howl control over the Demonâs kills until they die, which makes them an even stronger Lycanthrope. itâs not reccomended.
Can the Howl turn into a Demon? If yes, does the Abumbrella effect the Howl who turned itself into a Demon?
If the Howl (somehow) becomes a Legion, does it follow Engineer or Pit-hag rules?
the Howl can become anything if the Storyteller lets them. and yes, this would happen - they are âthe Demonâ, after all, and so the Abumbrella would command their kills too, as well as hiding the fact that theyâre the Demon from them. a key element of the Howl si that being mad that youâre evil gives you powerful abilities but comes with huge risks
and no, it doesnât work on Engineer/Pit-Hag rules, it is an unjinxed interaction - they can easily be a Lone Demon.
If you post in a signups you should be auto inned
hey now im a spectator with chronic fatigue mainly interetested for playtesting purposes since iâm involved with designing this script you canât get on my case for this
Then the helpful thing you did is not fueling the phasmosoph ability with anything else and so that gets turned against you somehow.
âŚhow you actually do this in a game of clocktower is a mystery to me
Once per each player individually yes. High risk but high reward
Itâs not unfinished itâs just open-ended. Something bad quite literally just means an unknown bad thing.
As per the second sentence, making it âgoodâ also makes it an unknown good thing. Either way the Pandora learns what happened
Is the play for that Outsider to hold off unless you think the Storyteller would add a Minion?
You could almost certainly wait, but if you die before opening the box itâs never opening
Or you could go fuck it we ball
(The ideal is you figure out if a Minion got added based on evil activity, some information and vibes and then box if you think there is an extra)
Anyway-
Will probably close up on January 1st given signup activity is slowed
holy shit
