looking further into the stream it seems as if learning about things due to other character abilities like who a Marionette or Lunatic is is also affected???

You can learn the wrong player as a lunatic or King or your wrong neighbour as the marionette?
Plus… would that mean that a player chosen by a nightwatchman will be woken up and then have to choose a ST to get info from? This could be spicy if other character abilities are messed with big time.

At least if that’s the case, it somewhat encourages evil to try and solve the Knaves too so they can get more reliable things.
