when run as a homebrew character ive seen it run as “info characters ask a certain storyteller” and not much else
theoretically you could run it with a sock puppet lol

looking further into the stream it seems as if learning about things due to other character abilities like who a Marionette or Lunatic is is also affected???

You can learn the wrong player as a lunatic or King or your wrong neighbour as the marionette?
Plus… would that mean that a player chosen by a nightwatchman will be woken up and then have to choose a ST to get info from? This could be spicy if other character abilities are messed with big time.
