If there is a choirboy, there must be a king
yes that’s what im saying but it doesn’t work the other way round
Just because the demon knows there is a king doesn’t mean they know whether or not a chorboy is in play, because king can exist without the choirboy
This segment is just objectively incorrect
So it’s perfectly reasonable to give a choirboy bluff
Point of the King is that you get OP info in the late game, but the demon knows who you are. So if the demon wants to, they can kill you so that you don’t get your info. The counter to this is the choirboy, who ambushes the demon if they try to get rid of the king. It’s a game of chicken, does the demon risk killing the King if there is a choirboy? Or does the demon keep the King alive meaning they can get the info. The demon can never know if there’s a choirboy, except using socials making it one of my favorite character pairs :p. If the demon knows there is no choirboy, all the fun of that interaction is gone, and IMO the ST shouldn’t give the choirboy as a bluff to the demon because you sour the King-Demon dynamic.
Oh, that’s worded badly, I meant that the demon should always know if there is no choirboy in play if there is no king either. If there is no king, giving choirboy as a bluff is like giving Lunatic as a bluff. You already know if a Lunatic is not in play if you’re the demon. Similarly, if there is no king you know there is no choirboy.
If there’s a king in play: giving choirboy as a bluff is bad because you’ve ruined the King and Demon dynamic
If there’s no king in play: the demon knows that there must also be no choirboy in play, you’ve wasted one of the demons bluffs. Might as well tell them that their bluffs are “King Choirboy Lunatic”
maybe the king should just git gud :)
this kind of makes sense but if they wouldn’t give it to the demon then i don’t think they’d give it to the lunatic either because what would be thw point if they immediately found out they were lunatic
which wraps around to just
giving it to both demon and lunatic
The lunatic thinks they’re the demon, so no point in treating them differently.
Then the noble isn’t real according to that, nor is the Juggler, the three I got was Juggler, Choirboy and Noble, so how does that make any sense??? Literally call me a liar all you want but ffs I just want to play the game and this is what I got
