Yes but he outed his token very early into his lunatic revelation which is around about the time I’d say he still fully believed it and was completely willing to help town so he probably didn’t lie about it

I guess not, but I know shark doesn’t know fully how lunatic works (and for that matter neither do I) so you ever know, maybe he thought a lunatic would get their own lunatic (to be fair, they can)
Still makes it easier for me to assume it’s a fang gu
