Okay let me put forward this world:
It’s an imp game. Shark is the Imp. They die. Richard is the Scarlet Woman, and becomes the Imp. Lycan kills some dudes and he starpasses because…I don’t know why, makes him look good I guess, and makes his outsider claim look more legit thus pushing the “Fang Gu” narrative. The new Demon, Whysper is starpassed too - Perhaps he was hoping it would be passed to the psychopath and perhaps he knew that whysper was up next. That’s where I’m at right now.

It would raise an eyebrow on why or how the lycan picked him over anyone else, but perhaps that was just coincidence and he was always planning to die while he still looked good to solidify his outsider claim and not be sussed as a fang gu jump since that’s where everyones headspace was at
