Because if Egg is drunk then whysper is the demon, as per puzzlemaster rules.
If egg is not drunk, whysper cannot be the demon because that would be true info and you get false info if you are wrong.

At post #3218 Mistyx claims they were cerenovus’d as the snitch very specifically. Considering all the cerenovus “slips” that were mentioned as well I think it’s likely they really were made mad here and were trying to indicate, perhaps.
