Chair of Deception 2 - Game Thread - GAME OVER - UNSHACKLED AND TRICKSTER WIN

Hounskull because it’s plague birb but medieval and cool

Great Helm and yell “Deus Vult!”

frog-mouth looks and sounds cool ngl

Sort of

I actually just hate this post
It doesn’t make any sense because town also wants to be on the good side of the neutral

But also yeah you wanna kill him cuz he could kill you as scum lol since he’s townsiding
I’m inclined to believe he’s townsiding because he wouldn’t reveal it if he wasn’t and it he backstabs me oh well

Not like you care, apparently.
Also the “and lose” here is so… pretentious? I don’t like how you imply that your death on day 1 would be game deciding but given how other people have played that might be town indicative unfortunately

And every time I don’t trust Zorvo it’s been a horrible mistake LOL

The inch is resting
Not opposed to him living but… anyway

I would also say evil would be scared to push Zorvo if I was evil pushing Zorvo methinks
Especially if people are agreeing with me

I fw Frog Mouth purely on name

I never claimed to be saint.

Is there any further you can explain into this because I don’t really understand what problem Leafia’s hesitance causes

Then why do you continue to vote Jarek?

Exactly, that’s why I tried to get some reads going from Frost and Silviu.

I almost always use Mobile.
I use Mobile 95% of the time.

It’s purely emotional even if it’s not logical - I’m not rubbing the ego of the neutral just for randing neutral just in hopes they side with me. I absolutely hate that in games. “omg town helped u so much pls side with us omg pls pls!!!” absolutely not. If you want a win, you can work for it.

I feel that strongly about it. If I am wagonned and killed over the neutral then I believe that to be a sure-fire loss. Maybe the wording was a bit aggressive but the general idea is that if I die today (somehow) then I don’t trust town to win.

Fair enough.

Also fair but I don’t know whose evil and everyone plays it differently

Wow Jarek absolute neuts outside guy

I still think it is better to lynch

  1. We do not know if he is actually a neut. He could be NE or group wolf claiming. This does not necessary have high likelihood of happening, but it is still something to keep in mind.

  2. The way role itself works is anti-town. If we tell him to roleblock people we think are wolfy. Then those are going to be his targets that he needs to see survive and by doing this he will be mechanically forced to side against us.
Now we could make him roleblock people we think are towny. But I think that is mechanically going to hurt us more in the long run, because roleblocking and removing protections from townies for the whole game is not really worth it for 1 extra vote.

  3. Even if we do the latter strategy they can still be put in position where they mechanically will want to side with scum. For example in endgame there can be situation where ending game immediately by voting out town can be more beneficial than prolonging game for several phases by siding with town.

Why are you focusing on the neutral, the objective is to remove the evil faction.

Me.

I don’t wanna die, stop being mean to me.

If I became the lord it ensures we don’t have an evil one.

That’s like fantastic.

I can’t exactly point to every social deduction game I’ve ever played but every game I play like this I despise neutral characters.

In almost every game I play, they side town the entire time until evils get majority, and then start acting like they “don’t know who to vote” and refuse to vote evils and town loses. All while town adamantly refuses to do anything about the neut up until that point.

God that’s infurating in a 20 minute game can you imagine how bad that’d be in a game like this

People are currently speaking within 100 messages about their choices in a server I am in

At least with a neut like mercenary it might make more sense.
