Scenario 4:
After many years of adventuring, your party is old and tired. You finally retire and choose to rest. The bards sing songs about your glory days. One night, at a tavern, a young and eager adventurer group joins you at your table. You can tell they are inexperienced and overly eager to prove themselves. They tell you they are heading out to clean out a goblin cave tomorrow, and since you have much more experience than them, they ask you for your advice.
What do you advise them?
A) Designate one of the party members as bait. Draw out the goblins from outside their home, and ambush them.
B) Stay together at all times. Every soldier must watch each others back. As long as your flanks are secured, the goblins can’t defeat you using their numbers advantage

The group thanks you for your advice. On the next day, the following happens:
The useless Knight in their party (who misses all of her attacks and screams helplessly) is designated as bait. She gets surrounded by goblins, however, her armor is too thick and she suffers no damage. The rest of the party quickly surrounds the goblins and wipes them out. Afterwards, cleaning out the rest of the cave is trivial.
Thanks to your advice, the group survived and completed their mission.

The group thanks you for your advice. On the next day, the following happens:
They decide to stick together. They venture into the cave, slowly killing the goblins one by one, while staying close to each other. Victory is certain. Right around this corner … SPLAT! A giant ogre squashed the whole party in one strike using his giant club. Since everybody was so bunched up, they all died in one blow.
Thanks to your advice, the group has died, and their dreams have been lost.

You can only take one, to turn the tides against the Evil Overlord and save the world. What do you pick?

The Rogue in your party snatches the dagger, teleports behind the Big Bad Boss, and swiftly plunges the dagger in his neck. The boss silently falls, without uttering a noise. His body evaporates into a thick black mist, leaving only his armor behind.
