terrible idea: n0, but the only allowed n0 action is conversion, and then thereā€™s a day 1 exe as normal (and further conversions are locked until like night 4 or something)

terrible idea 2: no day 1 exe, but some other form of Importantly Significant Day 1 Vote (at least as significant as the King vote)

players get to vote for who gets converted night 1 publicly

this allows players who stay quiet day 1 because they are afraid to be converted to have motivation to be towny and seen as good day 1 so that they arenā€™t voted into being converted

this also solves the issue of scum missing their conversion if everyone can just agree that someone gets converted

just look at the most recent CoD game

It was based off a claim
Not because a player was an arbitrary townread

D1 lord election is invariably skewed toward the same outcome again and again

The main reason I had no starting lord is precisely so I could have d2 lord election and get rid of the rancid swing
