dad’s side is the most maximalist hoarders typa stuff you’ll ever see. random flea market decorations covering every wall head-to-toe. mixed color couches that have been in the family for decades. so my dad likes to keep it clean and simple
and my mom’s side is very decidedly undecorated. the most decoration there was, like, a crucifix idk. There was some cute stuff, bird clock, but pretty minimalist. so she goes wild with decorations
