Cookie Thread Act 1: A Cookie in Time

Could you convincingly pass yourself off as having a different ideology than what you actually have.

maybe. probably. maybe i already am and you dont know it.

Could you convince someone who genuinely holds that viewpoint?

could do. i dont know much about politics. i don’t know if that hurts or helps

I would think that it helps to express a viewpoint, but hurts when trying to justify a belief.

My stepdad said last week that he thinks a political viewpoint influences your ideology, when it should be the other way around.

wpuld you still love me if i was the moon

i feel like real people often have trouble justifying their beliefs

Yeah, of course. I love astrology as a passing interest.

Correct. It’s roughly half the population that doesn’t have an internal monologue.

Hey Story, do you hear your voice in your head?
Can you picture images in your head?

I don’t have much an internal monologue by default when I’m just going about my day, but I can still go consciously “talk to myself” if I want to better understand a belief. Or usually I imagine explaining it to someone else. Whenever I’m mad about an internet post I imagine explaining to my mom why I am mad and often that snaps me out of it as I realise how absurd it is

@Magnus What’s your Cube Score

Am I just supposed to imagine spinning cubes in my head, or is there something specific that I’m supposed to think about?

caffeine makes me:

hate myself and ruin my sleep schedule and get absurdly anxious and somehow not feel more alert and feel an impending sense of doom and feel more paranoid

i thought i was depressed for a solid half a year until realising it was just because i drank coffee every day

Just the number of spinning cubes you can imagine at once.
