someone ~my age who was part of a fanfic/RP community that I’ve been in since I was 17 got recruited into a ~cult and was allegedly involved with multiple (I think) murders (there was more-than-zero connection to the fanfic/RP community but it’s kinda convoluted. but like it’s not just ‘someone I know helped with a murder’ which would not be all that weird)

We certainly had fucked up things back home on warrior cats forum dot com but comments were moderated before being visible and I wasn’t a mod so I just heard of them secondhand from my friends who were
im too lazy to think but im p sure memes aside theres like 1 or 2 i can think of from here
i found out today that one of the communities i’m in has information that could ruin the political career of a candidate for congress
can the ‘kind of fucked up thing’ be a bunch of people I knew making and selling meth? because afaict thats kind of the whole reason the discord was created

I am still SO smug that the person who was impossibly perfect life and kind in her alleged life and named their cats after forum users (but not ME) was lying about literally everything. I resented her so much and did not believe her
