There were a bunch of leaks for the upcoming Splatoon DLC that all the Upstanding Datiners were taking a Principled Stand about. Major spoilers and all that.
Thing is, there’s also a bunch of fake leaks, because Splatoon players love lying, and the solution the Upstanding Dataminers seem to have come up with is to provide zero clarification as to what is real and what is fake. Not deconfirming fake leaks means it’s harder to get spoiled by real ones. One of them just Deleted a tweet clarifying some reddit leaks were fake

Solution to spoilers: Just let the equivalent of the SplatoonNorthAmericr Twitter account (which impersonates the official one and posts a mixture of real and fake announcements to keep everyone on their toes) run free
