i think the most my parents ever flipped out on a teacher was when one used “the ends justify the means” as a metaphor/phrase of the day (there was just. a new phrase every day it was where i learned a lot of my metaphors in retrospect). they are otherwise on good terms with that teacher which honestly makes it funnier

same tbh
anything past 7th grade is like a complete blur past certain clips i sort of remember bc of how they affected me (lots of crying)

and then a bit after that I remember some things but still pretty fuzzy
then like 10th grade up I actually remember things
