so basically i dropped my ID outside on thursday and someone gave it to the closest dorm front desk, and posted on the snap story that it was dropped there so I went to that dorm desk, and they told me they mailed it to the ID center.

so i went to the id center today and they were like “hey sorry but it takes a day for it to get here in the mail, and it’s not gonna be here until the weekend (when they are closed) so it’s gonna be until monday when u get it back”

so I, naturally, was like “okay I guess i’m gonna just kill myself”
(I totally failed the dialogue option I honestly dunno why I said that. i say that in jest to like friends but obviously the random student employees don’t know me like that)

the random student employees had some horrified look on their face so i muttered sorry and left. and then i got an email that they actually did get it in the mail, and i could pick it up today. but… it’s obviously a re-printed version because the back isn’t scuffed up and the ink is more faded.

which means that the employees felt really bad for me and printed a new one and claimed that it came in the mail. Which is like extemely humiliating because now I feel like they took me too seriously and i feel bad. but also. it’s my fault for saying that why did i say that.

like i wasn’t super broken up over it. I was like mildly annoyed at worst. i kinda just say things without thinking. the ID center is not league of legends chat
