I should set an appointment for my shoulder, but I probably wont!
Gosh I wish I could run forever without being out of breath. It always happens to me.
How severe is it? If you donāt get it fixed, it will still remain that way!
Physical therapy is a waste of time and money in my honest opinion. I never did the stretches at home no matter how much they told me to. If you want to fight a shoulder injury, my best advice is to just start lap swimming. As close to every day as possible.
I think they call it like shoulder instability
Often turning in my sleep, certain weight lifting, etc. Will make my shoulder feel like its being ripped out of the socket. It just slides back to normal when I move it, but its a lot of pain and it remains very sore for a while
Ough, my shoulder always hurt when I need to sleep
When my shoulder feels like it rips, I canāt use it. So if it happened while I swam, Iād drown
āFixedā unless you have a rotator cuff tear, surgery will never be authorized. If you have full range of motion, even if itās obscenely painful, there is no way there is a tear. I also had a pretty bad shoulder injury a couple years ago, and I had to advocate my ass off just to get an MRI authorized. The only one who can fix it is oneself
I doubt you have a tear. But i guess you have to start more gently since itās so rusty
I could really use a motivational speaker oftentimes
just get friends
but I dont have any motivational friends, so dont ask me how
Iām willing to try to fill this role if you want

is this the āmedical problems im too lazy to seek professional help forā thread
becasue i have a lot of those too
such as āusing light modeā
they have doctors and PT at my college campus, so I guess I should setup an appointment since its close
i have a bunch of serious problems i dont go to a doctor for because most of my doctor visits in the past theyve just said im making things up and like, why bother shelling out money for that
I donāt think its a great habit to get into.
Doctors from my experience arenāt out to get things wrong. Either theyāve seen cases like yours where someone was wrong about what is wrong, or they canāt see the evidence to go with what your feeling.
You have a bias to believe what your feeling, and want to have a doctor agree with you. Trust me, after 7 years of doctors telling me they canāt figure out what causes my brain to not function correctly, I get it.
