When my shoulder feels like it rips, I can’t use it. So if it happened while I swam, I’d drown
“Fixed” unless you have a rotator cuff tear, surgery will never be authorized. If you have full range of motion, even if it’s obscenely painful, there is no way there is a tear. I also had a pretty bad shoulder injury a couple years ago, and I had to advocate my ass off just to get an MRI authorized. The only one who can fix it is oneself
I doubt you have a tear. But i guess you have to start more gently since it’s so rusty
I could really use a motivational speaker oftentimes
just get friends
but I dont have any motivational friends, so dont ask me how
I’m willing to try to fill this role if you want
Feel free to dm me on discord for more advisement if you so desire
is this the “medical problems im too lazy to seek professional help for” thread
becasue i have a lot of those too

such as “using light mode”
they have doctors and PT at my college campus, so I guess I should setup an appointment since its close
i have a bunch of serious problems i dont go to a doctor for because most of my doctor visits in the past theyve just said im making things up and like, why bother shelling out money for that
I don’t think its a great habit to get into.
Doctors from my experience aren’t out to get things wrong. Either they’ve seen cases like yours where someone was wrong about what is wrong, or they can’t see the evidence to go with what your feeling.
You have a bias to believe what your feeling, and want to have a doctor agree with you. Trust me, after 7 years of doctors telling me they can’t figure out what causes my brain to not function correctly, I get it.
even if its true they just say “have you tried not lying to us” which famously helps every mental health problem
Also, unless you want to try out many different medications and search for something to possibly help you, I’d not recommend going to the doctor for your mental health. If you desire that choice, it’s not a bad one, but if you are just wanting better mental health, then changes in your life are something that is better to experiment with. You can get guidance/advice from a lot of different sources.
Because obviously being confrontational with your patient unlocks the solution deep within
i don’t think they’re wrong or malicious or anything, i just don’t think the advice theyve given is worth the money as far as helping me deal with things go
i also don’t like being treated like im psychotic
even if i am the way they treat me because of it is not good
Doctors aren’t trained to handle your mental or social issues, unless you are wanting to throw therapists into that group.
I FINALLY GOT PHYSIO FOR MY HIP BTW
