Also since when you can count the middle of an o (or any letter for the matter) as a dot? That’s never called a dot. (In the text, there aren’t even rounds but oval, so none of those can count as a “dot as definied” either…)

There are the 8 obvious dots.
There is one in a question mark.
There is one in the exclamation mark.
The period/hard stop is called a dot sometimes.
There is a dot on the top of the the i.
(And if you want to be pedantic, there’s the text dots)

That’s only 12 (or 13 if you count the text.)
