At 26:00 R9C7 had an extra restriction for me.

I rechecked now. You missed more than one step.

R8C4 has to be in row 9 in box 7. (It can’t be in R7C3 since it’s in r4c5 already in that cage.)

So because the renban line the same number (one of 34) has to be on R7C7.

If R5C6 is the other number of the 34 parity, it forces the same number on R7C7 as well. (This number would be in row 8 and 9 in box 7 and 8 as well) Making the puzzle impossible, so R6C6 is the (34) number. And R7C4 has to be the same number.

R6C6’s number needs to be in box 6. That it can’t be in column 9. (Due tu it being in the red cage in box 9, and can’t be in R5C7, due to being in R7C4 in the pink cage.) (And R6C6 can’t be part of the blue cage anymore.)

Which makes R6C6’s number in the blue cage in box 6, and disambugate R9C7 (which can’t be a 5, because of this.)

Completed in approx. 60 + 24 mins.
Beautiful puzzle. Very difficult if you don’t have insight. (Which I clearly lacked for the 34-pair placements. Especially regarding [my yellow section’s connection with Row 8 and 9], and the placement of said pair in B5C6.)

(diagram to try to explain what i meant. this isn’t really how i think of it)
fill in the required crosses, then in order to get the two crossed-out squares in the top we must have one in the first/fourth column. You can also look at the bottom-left, and that also requires that you have one in the first/fourth column, so the rest of those columns can be crossed out. Furthermore, since we now know there’s only one in the first/fourth column, we must have one in each of the last/third-to-last row in the bottom left so we can mark off the rest of them.

The second-from-the right-column has to have dots in in it in order to fill up the whole column because otherwise the rightmost column would have to have two dots in the same line. However this is restricted to two rows, and we have to place another dot in those two rows from the square in the second-from-the-left column, so the rest of those two rows (via line of sight) can be crossed off)

(This is what I missed initially) you must also place a dot in the fifth column in order to get to some of the spaces.

The rest should be relatively straightforward but for completeness

Then you get the rest of these in order. First the fourth column from the right only has one available square. This marks the square in the fifth column from the right as not having a dot, and so you must have one in the first row. Then by process of elimination around the square we get the one on the rightmost column, this leaves only one dot in the third-from-the-right column. This then determines the positions of the lower dot in the second-from-the-right column by lack of other options. Then the third-from-the-left square is forced in order to have a dot around the nearby square. Then there’s a square that needs two dots around it and only has two positions available. Then finally back to the top-left we must have one in the first column, and in the bottom-left the one is forced also. Then there is one space left.
