yeah its very seldomly used, its occasionally optimal to vote to no-execute/sleep/etc but usually for mechanical reasons and usually near the end of the game
im too lazy to explain it in more detail but expect that if it were to become relevant this game id be dead long before it
but also we can just kill the mafia and not have it matter 
Is it like in botc where at f4 sometimes itās better to sleep and have the demon kill someone so thereās one less person who could theoretically be the demon?
What is the roleset in a mafia game look like? Just curious if it has like jesters/fools and stuff.
yeah, F4 is common time to sleep
basically if the game is 1 misexecute away from ending but voting to no execute does not end the game (also known as MyLo āMisyeet = Loseā) then its generally better to do that
as opposed to when youāre one exe from losing and no executing would also lose you the game (aka LyLo, āYeet (correctly) or loseā)
but also given this game is closed and rolemadness its pretty unlikely that id even vote to sleep unless i was confident i could predict whatād happen, you cant guarantee only one person dies each night when you have no idea what roles can/cant exist
This is role madness so there are no vanilla roles
Usually roles I have seen are
Jack of all trades (can do 1 of 3 actions, jailkeeping, tracking, vig, for both factions)
Night vigilante (night kill, for both factions)
Role blockers (for both factions)
Even/odd night doctors (for town)
Neutral hitman (I doubt thereās a neutral they are rare)
Masons (usually town aligned both of them, stupidly strong power role)
short answer is āno ideaā for this game
jesters areā¦ not super common in forum mafia, but some people like them. i personally hope this game has none but 
This setup in specific btw other games in this site do feature a number of vanilla roles

Masons are 2 people that share a private chat and 9/10 times are the same alignment (theyāre usually town itās really hard to pull of a mason fake claim as mafia for obvious reasons)
