DnDCord (it's not on discord)

Keki looks a bit embarrassed, standing up and giving the chest a resounding kick

“Shoddily constructed. Seems to be jammed.”

Shrug his shoulders and relax his muscles before popping his bones and on to his hands next

“I will give it try, but we have to ask our wayfaring stranger one more question before we let him go.”

Look towards the appearing captive he have no recollection why he took this person in particular

“Are you certain we only took you? I can’t imagine we could have taken your friends from the camping as well, did we?”

The man’s body twitches, and he responds with clenched teeth, speaking only partially. “No, it was only me.”

As you break open the chest, a surprising revelation unfolds—eight individuals emerge from its confines, leaving you pondering how they managed to fit inside. Their leader passionately exclaims something about honor, promises, and the allure of 20 gold pieces.

Keki leans against a tree in typical edgy fashion, staring at the 8 people. Are they of any particular race? Do they have magical vibes? How did they fit in the chest?

However, before you can fully comprehend the leader’s intentions and the reason behind the pounding headache he induces, a sense of imminent danger pervades the air. It’s as if you wasted precious time fooling around in the woods throughout the previous night instead of diligently seeking an escape route. One among you had the ill-conceived notion that venturing off-road with the wagon would be an exhilarating adventure, and now you find yourselves disoriented in the heart of an unfamiliar forest, devoid of any guiding trail.

While paying attention to even the smallest details often proves prudent, on this particular day, the morning of the Great Hangover, you cannot help but contemplate whether the pack of wolves aproaching, crashing through the trees toward you, serves as the emphatic punctuation mark at the end of the statement, “I’m never drinking again.”

Are we gonna roll for initiative or smth

Alright, let’s review the essentials. Although you didn’t thoroughly survey your surroundings, I’ll provide you with the details. You find yourselves adjacent to an abandoned mining camp. It consists of a solitary house, its doors visibly shattered. Your available options include attempting to defend the premises, retreating into the mining tunnel, or making a daring escape through the forest. Take the next 30 minutes (till EoD) to discuss among yourselves and deliberate on the course of action you wish to pursue. Once the decision is made, we will proceed accordingly (after EoD).

Let’s make the daring escape

Well, since it seems to be just me and Eliza here atm, I think we should make a daring escape too. It’d be the coolest thing to do after all.

Although escaping with these 9 people in tow sounds tough. Are we heroes? Do we leave them to die?

That’s fair

I would recommend not going into the tunnel tho

We can probably defend from the house, although the doors are gone.

Retreating into a tunnel without a light source sounds like an awful idea, but if there were torches inside we could probably scare away the wolves with the fire.
