Game rules:
- You will each be playing on a randomly-assigned two-player team.
- The game will take place over a series of rounds. Each round will consist of one turn for each player. Turn order will be randomized each round.
- On your turn, you must choose a category and a point value. The point values are 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500. The categories are:
- Arete
- Geyde
- Gray (a.k.a. notblackorwhite)
- Icibalus
- katze
- Ruby
- Each category’s problems have been chosen by the corresponding host. Otherwise, there are no restrictions on the questions.
- The team whose turn it is will be presented with an answer, and must provide the corresponding question. IF YOU DO NOT ANSWER IN THE FORM OF A QUESTION, IT WILL BE COUNTED AS INCORRECT. The hosts will then announce whether their answer was correct or incorrect.
- Example:
- Answer: “This game, hosted on Fortress of Lies, began on June 25, 2023.”
- Question: “What is FAM 3?”
- Example:
- Either player from a team may answer.
- If their answer is correct, they gain the corresponding amount of points for a category.
- If their answer is not correct, then (after this has been announced by the hosts) all other players may answer, gaining half of the question’s points if they are the first to answer correctly.
- The team with the most points at the end of the game will win.
- Research is not allowed, and will be considered cheating.
