Fishing BOATS rules:
- Each of you will be dealt five cards from a standard deck of 52.
- The goal of the game is to collect the most Draughts. A Draught is a group of four cards of the same rank (such as four 7s or four Jacks).
- Play order will be determined randomly.
- On your turn, you choose another player and tell them to give you all the cards they have of a specific rank. For example, “Arete, give me all your Kings.”
- You may only ask for cards of a rank that you actually have in your hand. If you have no cards, you start by drawing a card, then take the rest of your turn as normal.
- If they have any cards of that rank, they must give all of them to you. You may then take another turn.
- Otherwise, they tell you “GO FISH.” You must then draw from the deck.
- If you draw a card of the rank you asked for, you take another turn.
- If you complete a Draught of any rank, you take another turn.
- Otherwise, play moves to the next player.
- Whenever you have gathered four cards of the same rank, you immediately place them on the table in front of you, claiming the Draught.
- Play continues until all Draughts have been claimed.
Please do not talk outside of this event until it has concluded.
