Remembering that game the host had to change my win con so that I didn’t auto lose from being the last evil alive, i didn’t have a NK so I couldn’t defeat the town, so if I was in parity I won

Like, I had really one path to victory, I had to convince town to execute confirmed town, and I had to be really convincing using every single mechanic at my disposal, so I stole a messaging ability from someone and convinced them dead chat was sending them a letter and that there was this whole dead shop mechanic that could alter information and flips and that dead chat was sending them a letter

Thinking back to it, I think a lot of towns could have fallen for that trick. By introducing a whole new mechanic to the game, town had to take effort into figuring out how that mechanic, if it’s not a fake message ability or a mafia lying about getting letter, fits into the game. It is sort of the overwhelming mechanic that when you learn of it and learn that mafia could potentially have devastating dead shop abilities like framing/tailoring people, etc etc, it sort of stops their solving and forces them to talk more about mechanics, which is where mafia can easily shine with manipulating town. And with such a slow game, where there was no one dying at night because they killed all the mafia who could actually kill at night - it becomes more of a mechanical game than a social game, or at least, when it slows down like that, you want to focus more on mechanics because you don’t want to give up the advantage you have.

A lot of mafia mechanical manipulation is very under explored in closed setups by mafia teams I feel like. There’s so much you can do with fake mechanics, or selectively giving out mechanical information, or figuring out how to exploit your mafia abilities. I only thought of the message ability and dead shop because I had to force myself to think about what the path to victory is - the only path to victory was to get people to throw out their mechanical confirmations.

Nominate Kyubey for best mechanical ability, so I can have an award.
My qualifications:
1 Almost every single game I’ve been apart of, I’ve caused some sort of game integrity issue, truly showing the extent of my mechanical prowess, which is so powerful I even exploit game hosts in pursuits of my win condition.
A. My first ever game - it was a magical girl game hosted by Orange? I think? Kyubey was an example role card in the OP. I did not know it was an example role card and I joined the game. People spent half the game thinking I was a neutral or an alt controlled by someone.
A2. Litten forgot he wasn’t playing and posted in the game thread, confirming I wasn’t a neutral.
B. In a botc game, I replaced in because Litten was busy, and since demon and minion information didn’t go out - since Silviu didn’t even know I was in the game or who I was, I knew they weren’t a demon/minion, because they would have learned Kyubey or figured it out on their own.
C. I can’t remember other incidents, but I’m sure other people do.

It’s sort of a joke about Kyubey. Every time I play on this account, usually, something goes very wrong for the host. The first ever game people thought I was a neutral when all I wanted to do was play on an alt so I could try to play differently and have fun. The OP for the game wasn’t made yet example card wise so when the game started the OP listed kyubey as a neutral as an example role card and since my name was Kyubey, well people thought I was a neutral. And then another game because I replaced in and someone didn’t know I was litten, it led to sort of an integrity issue.
And I accidently posted on my main that game, revealing litten was the owner
