hey youbie to answer your question i also took it as a hold on to me where i stand right now i didn’t forget my past and where it came from but i want to keep this dream (especially how it builds towards to the end) lol sorry if that interpretation is weird

ohhhh
i didnt pick up on that, thats a good interpretation, idk if i wouldve voted for it more bc of it, maybe like one vote? so wouldve been a tie

haha no idc about the votes just glad someone didn’t hate my music tastes :joy:

everyone where i live only listens to standard american pop

i liked the song, which was why i still gave it 1 vote, but i just didnt see the cat fit lmao

it’s so fun :)) a little side hobby of mine lol

i like to translate for as close to the grammatical format of the original (and therefore preserving the linguistic origin and beauty of the wording) as English allows

So i guess you can say i don’t care about rhyming? this (weird) translation of barro I think went for rhyming. which ok fine but I think i like rhythmic accuracy more? it makes it sound weird in english with rhyming. Rhythmic accuracy allows you to sing along. Whereas rhyming often skews rhythm and sense. Obviously it is possible to have all the above but then you sacrifice some linguistic beauty
