Ruby wins against Clockwork and becomes our final semi-finalist!
Itâs time for semi-finals!
You will have 24 hours to determine your team within your private role channels.
Good luck to all trainers!
Depending on where Clockwork lives its possible each person faced their closest geographical rival in round 1
(also possible that the 2 farthest apart ones are the only ones in the same country. god bless america)
Looking at this, I pity Clockwork for missing one deadline.
Not much wouldâve changed since heâd still get punished for missing a daily FoL checkup, and I understand that we are getting impatient considering other Round 1 matches are finished, but I still cannot not pity this outcome.
He did also miss the team selection deadline, which is why Iâm being a bit more strict.
if he shows up before r2 starts we could always un-end r1
Oh. Double miss.
âŚwell, one can only pity another to a certain degree. It still feels bad, but er⌠itâs âless badâ.
gg
nice fight!
nice ending
(for the record, if you used double protect, you also lose against my choice of moves. i think that you always win if hazard and magnus make the same move (both attack or both protect) and i always win if they use different moves (one attacks and one protects))
I think the play was for Marluna to double into Magnus. From there, Gummy could beat Daeron 1-on-1.
this loses to Magnus protect (if im protecting magnus, im not sending daeron into gummy, im sending him into hazard). I think this was a pure 50/50 if she can align hazard and magnusâs actions and me trying to not align them
in hindsight the play for her was to predict im not protecting magnus but she couldnt know :P
also hazard one shots magnus, doesnt need to double
Oh, right, forgot about that.
I ran a quick algorithm and they came out (gay) as the best defensive mons
Ash & Jason are also very very similar, with Jason being slightly better offensively and ash being⌠considerably better defensively
But same exact moves & similar typing
oh interesting. Ash also does similar thing in these games where he crunches numbers. my strategy was different, but i dont wanna talk about it publicly in case it gives my opponents advantage :P
for better or worse his ability to crunch numbers probably actually really dampens the advantage anyone else would get from numbers-crunching because thatâs probably how he made sure things were balanced
