(for the record, if you used double protect, you also lose against my choice of moves.

double protect would have lost the match for either of use, so I knew it was not a reliable option.

i think that you always win if hazard and magnus make the same move (both attack or both protect) and i always win if they use different moves (one attacks and one protects))

not really, there are some overlaps.
(if you protext Magnus, and Daeron attacks gummy, I am almost garantued to win, indepentent of Hazard protects.)
Also the move I used would have worked if Daeron protects and Magnus attacks gummy solo.

(thinking about it, those movesets were not really an option you should consider.)

yeah those are technically possible moves for me to make but realistically not ones that id take. i always protect magnus and daeron attacks hazard, or i double attack into gummy, i think those were my only 2 viable routes

i just thought of a slick design for folermon 3 to remove speed ties while keeping complexity low

simply alter the HP of mons. keep it at max 100. basically “damage” all mons at the start. this self-balances, the fastest mons are the squishiest
