im ngl 4 or 5 is always the worst position for things like this. No guaruntee that combos you’re trying to build will hold any weight or do anything

if ur tryna get a combo of 2 good cards its better to go later so u can guaruntee a combo instead of taking someone in the middle and then 8 picks later there’s no guaruntee of any sort of synergy card remaining

Also yeah that is the problem with draft
Base pokemon fixes that with so many alternatives to strats and normally a point system.
Here like 1/2 are insane for there were 2 insane picks able to be grabed (one went to orange)
Not to say others are bad just less team build able

ye but even with that its not really fixed
if im last pick in a snake draft with point system i still get to pick a strong core immediately, and if im first pick i still get to get the most OP single mon immediately and then flesh it out with a core later because I’ll get a double pick eventually
if ur in the middle u never get a double pick ever so you can never guarantee any combo works, and the more people between you and the edges the worse that is (which is why snake draft breaks down above, like, 4 drafters)

Yeah it aliviates some but still has massive problems
And really moving it over time doesnt help as its the first two pick rounds that matter the most

I guess one option would be “everyone creates their own team privately and its possible 1 FoLermon is in multiple teams”
