have fun
@hazard come fight me bitch
@Chomps, you’re next.
Who do you want to fight, and do you want to join Willow’s half of the tree in the bracket?
Willow is fighting hazard. Lets say willow is square 8, hazard is square 7
@Chomps what starting square you pick, and which opponent?
If u choose 5 or 6, if u win u will face willow/hazard at semi finals. If u choose 1-4, u are guaranteed to not face willow/hazard at semis
Mindmeld
i choose the square with the crown on top
i should leave the left side for the competitive people
marissa first picked herself I don’t think she’d tryhard
I’ll go square 5 with marissa square 6
its on chompster
Going with Daeron.
Guess I’ll take slot 3.
Id like to conserve my phone battery while om the train, i have many more hours of travelling. Will start when i can
Marissa would never tryhard a misc
i think im pretty outclassed considering how little i know about pokemon
i researched the basics and tried to draft a team with a mix of types. but the pokemon nerds are probably roasting me for not making a quadcombo pokemash squiggle pair or something
*pokemon game mechanics
i am intimately with pokemon
intimately familiar i should say
okay that’s enough of me, time for bed
We know.
This game might be a bit different than normal pokemon meta due to different rulings. I tried to simplify them
So, my hopes is that it will come to decision making and predicting your opponent and optionally making risks
Some examples of problems that will arise that will require decision making:
A) if i use both of my pokemon to attack 1 enemy pokemon, i can kill it in one turn. However, if they predict that and protect, they can use their other pokemon to damage me. So i lose the trade
B) to mitigate this i can split my attacks. But then my enemy can double up on one of my pokemon and beat me up
So a prediction mini-game can enter play here
Some factors that are unique to this game due to different rulings:
C) beating up my opponents mons speeds them up. So i should actually be careful because i might five my enemy an advantage by damaging them
D) i can double protect in order to scout my opponents move, and lock them into one of their attack due to choice rule, in return of me locking myself out of my protect. So its a trade that seems beneficial. But if the enemy switches the turn i double protect i accomplish nothing
So you could think of it as rock paper scissors. Not just the typings but attack - protect - switch
