Yes, it’s a VLDR. Kind of. Call it a VLDR-esque.
Full roleplay. Serious. Don’t come here just to goof off. Good roleplay reaps rewards.
Shouldn’t take more than 2-3 weeks to finish. If it does, I’ve done something wrong.
You:
- will be given a base rolecard with a title, 2 or so abilities, and a core character motivation that can be interpreted and played in multiple different ways.
- will make a character- you need a name, appearance (you can use an image or describe it in text and I’ll probably just picrew up one for you if the latter), and backstory. Yes, the backstory is important.
- will have, following the above, your base rolecard updated to fit the character, with 1-2 abilities added and a statline to match your character, set by the host.
- will NOT have anything that your rolecard does not say you have. Assume that, besides everything on the rolecard, you are an average human.
If you need help making a character, ask me. please. give me an excuse to ramble about the art of character creation it’s my passion
Host-player communication is important. Tell me anything you feel you need or want to about your character, the other player characters, the game, etc.
You may be lied to for game integrity. However, you must treat all you are told as truth unless YOUR CHARACTER has a reason to distrust their own perceptions.
The game map will not be made publicly available to the players. Players may make their own maps and share it in-universe, if they have the means.
There WILL be environmental hazards. They CAN get you killed. However, you will not be doing battle with NPCs.
PVP is enabled, but not mandatory unless otherwise stated.
I will be posting teasers for the game ahead of time in a thread of my own making, once I have made enough progress on the game. Right now, it’s super barebones and I really only have the plot set up, as well as the basic idea of the 7 roles.
