This reads as genuine frustration at a partner lmao. Think v!Willow would be more preoccupied with deciding “Is Hippo town or mafia” and “should we vote Hippo or not”, rather than “is w!Hippo currently playing well?”

Im response to Eve defending Hippo. Tonally this reads as insincere to me, and jarring, amidst the sea of posts stabbing Hippo with a knife. It reads like budget soap opera acting, the “sigh”
I don’t actually think Willow has that bad of an EoD. I just don’t think she’s that towny, I think this looks like a straightforward bus, and I think v!Willow would express more villagery entitlement today if she’s town
If Willow is town, from her pov she dunked on a wolf, and yet shes being wagoned right after. That’d be a frustrating experience, and I think we would have seen some frustration, rather than apathy, if Willow town here

willow’s very next post is unvoting hippo
this feels like believable progression to me? to me it feels like willow is getting convinced by eve’s arguments that hippo claiming mason is extremely bad and that he’d self-resolve from beancat claiming d2. I feel like w!willow could’ve just continued to sit on the wagon and dunk on hippo
i think willow has barely any posts from today, i think i would discount this

i don’t usually do pairing reads but i think there are three obvious pairs to me
[eve, frog]
both made wolfsided votes at eod1, both have been pushing the narrative that the hippo wagon contains bussers
[tutuu, leafia]
both hardpushed hippo at a point in the game where there was a chance that tutuu would go over, both townread each other highly, both have been pushing for eve as someone for wolfsiding eod1 (well tutuu for other reasons but yes)
[willow, carbon]
this one is less obvious and is based on my pet read in 2150. if willow is wolf, she really wants her vote to matter so that hippo goes over instead of her wolf teammate carbon

KISS principle (Keep It Simple, Stupid) - very good principle in game design, and in my opinion, in solving mafia gamea too
Apply KISS to this game:
Q: Is town currently winning?
A: Yes, we dunked on a wolf D1 who had a bad claim. Wolf team is disorganised and was unprepared
Q: Is the towncore infested with deep wolves?
A: No, we don’t have a lot of in-fighting. Towncore is pretty consensus, and majority of you are polarized. The PoE is not fighting back (which they do when they’re all town)
Q: Is it rational to feel paranoia right now?
A: No. It’s too early, and it would be purely an emotional reaction. It’s not logical. “The game can’t be this easy” (after a wolf flip) is purely an emotional paranoia, a form of pessimism. Doomerism, if you will
Q: Who should we kill?
A: The people who aren’t posting. Keep it simple

The best town meta we have in this site, is hoping we have a correct town core or we get destroyed from within, we call them deep wolves who shown to be very towny. (After all, who doesn’t want to bus mafia members that help their objective to reach finals?)

Yep.
Looking this way, Soweli ending up voting Carbonated I would have considered him suspicious. The odds are 1-2 wolves are in Hippo wagon and while I didn’t end up voting Hippo, I do suspect 36501’s voting patterns is not natural to me. Also, I believe we talked about this before but I certainly said about the way I voted Hippo was simple: I didn’t like the way he posted. That’s not a sheep vote.

For me, Willow is in direct thunderdome with Leafia (#1403) from early voting. If not W/W then how do I prove which one is town? Willow’s worse off.
