alright here we go:

• 36501 - like fine. I probably townread a fair amount. I’ve said already that I think his jason reads felt very comfortable for me. overall I like the vibe of interacting with other players. like I would kinda characterize [36501, catbae, and tutuu] as the “biggest” players/I feel naturally gravitated towards them in this game, and 36501 feels the most grounded with interacting with people which I like. also jason thinks you’re town. my bias towards high post count players is also noted.
• soweli - posts generally feel fine. I don’t feel as comfortable towning her as in april showers, but april showers had a lot less “posters” and also she wasn’t around for the first half of the day, so that makes me slightly predisposed against her (I remember sussing soweli for like all of undertale 2 (?) after she subbed in until she was mechcleared). I think the tutuu interaction/thoughts were good from her. the leafia gutread is interesting, and I don’t know what to make of it. I think the main reservation/ping? I had was soweli towning players because her vibe feels more that she goes “ehh these players are okay to towny” rather than “these players are town,” but maybe we were just all just not very strongly towny in april showers.
• Willow - okay I did backread a bit of grande idea, and her jason push is actually a bit different/less tentative than her marluna or me pushes in grande idea. I don’t really get the obvtown vibes that others seem to have gotten, and I’m admittedly influenced by gummy’s slight sus on willow at the start, but I think willow feels better after thinking jason is town here. the aggression/certainty? of the push feels a bit more like the willow in madoka. it does somewhat feel like she dipped a bit after being active sod rip
• Leafia - whatever she’s probably town if soweli is the only one not saying it. I generally agree with everyone else’s points on why she’s town, not going to rehash
• Frostwolf103 - I think the vibes are good. he’s kinda posting in the way I’ve been led to expect from frost, like kinda random reads and focus on voting patterns. I found his analysis of me and jason being t/t really interesting although he never did seem to follow back up on his belief that there was a wolf voting a wolf in those wagons. curious to see where it would lead. agree w/ catbae’s townread on him for doing his own thing
• Eve (lilith + pandora) - I should probably have alignment thoughts about them, but I don’t really. I think the tutuu interaction was genuine or like the miscommunication? of it. they said they townread us. I wouldn’t mind a follow up on what said “tasty interactions” are bc I have no clue:

• Hippopablompoyeetus - agree w/ consensus I kinda expected more posting from what I saw in the last few games. no real strong feelings beyond that. sorry to hear about the interview :(
• Kiiruma - okay kiiruma!! really really unsure if he feels weird bc of a mech reason/difference in role from april showers or if it’s some alignment thing. slightly unsettled by him using infinitely? more emotes this game and generally sounding more, silly?/lighthearted? this game. I don’t really mind any of the analysis posts. don’t really see the townreads on him but don’t think I’d want to d1 him again
• snow - same feelings as catbae
• catbae - catbae was high and then dropped when everyone else was active and then went back up again after he resumed posting. rip me. anyway I think gummy’s townread on him is probably legit. the thoughts in his readlist were good, and I liked reading them. I don’t have any deep insights
• diafiasco - I don’t really see why dia is being townread, they’re good at sounding chill and confident as wolf. one pro for them I guess, is none of their posts have set off my paranoid red flags. don’t think I’ve seriously liked any of their reads so far. maybe I’m still not over last game
• jason.mrrown - I don’t know where gummy stands on jason at the moment. personally, I’m willing to just trust jason until a reason for me to distrust him comes up. like his entire desire to do “plays” and poke people and make wagons is very town jason to me. I’m willing to believe playful jason is more towny than wolf as well.
• tutuu - tutuu had a really great start for me. I mentioned earlier, but it felt like town tutuu when he started out and tried to read a bunch of people and so on. but I agree with catbae that he’s fallen off a bit since. beatings 3, tutuu also had good presence (to me) when he was posting, but he was just gone from thread a lot more and less shepherdy. so now I’m a bit paranoid. we’ll see

guys. i hate making reads on day 1. i was forced to do this by [mysterious force up above, not of a vampirical nature] i am starting to drain in exhaustion. unfortunately i am a little less than 50% done so i’ll keep chugging

feel a little weird about her feeling the need to make reads. like I can see it – she’s being wagoned and has been inactive – so she feels like she needs to push out a bunch of content, so we stop wagoning her. but it still feels a bit weird. maybe I’m overthinking. also worth noting I don’t think she ever really consolidated the reads

maybe this comes from a qbcord perspective where we’re generally very lenient about inactives (and by that i mean they can get away with a lot of attention) and we don’t even expect players to post a lot so perhaps this is a difference of perspective

if i recall correctly 1-I was souring on some of the thoughts that he presented, especially towards melatonin (who i’m townreading if that wasn’t clear by when i made a note of my thoughts towards gummy and meow’s posting, although admittedly i’m feeling stronger town vibes from gummy rather than meow but perhaps this is my i’m-deathly-afraid-of-meow bias), then 2-he walks back on it with reasoning that made me go :/ then 3- his tone just feels off, his willigness to tag along the beancat vote came a little too easily imo coming from a qbcord perspective since we don’t really. yeet people off to get them to talk.

hmmm. maybe this is genuine from carbon, I can kinda understand it. for me, it felt pretty comfortable with the jason main character syndrome vibes/wanting to provoke activity townmeta. I don’t want to consider being pocketed by jason d1 at least. the beancat vote from jason is in character I think, do you remember when he was voting you for no reason in theaterfia because he wanted to see if anyone else got baited into joining your wagon (or maybe it was voting me, I don’t recall)? this is a different situation, but I think town jason is more willing to do these sorts of “plays” and reaction tests, and [okay I still haven’t backread katseye I know I said I would] I think wolf jason has historically faded more into the background.

on the same quote, regarding tutuu, I do agree in the way that he doesn’t talk very substantively. pretty sure i mentioned that earlier. admittedly a bit hypocritical of me to say but I also kinda thought he would be. doing. more reads i guess as opposed to all the effort that went into finding out who the alt player was + other things that I forget but did happen but didn’t stand out to me as much because there wasn’t a 60 post long discussion on it. not a scumread from my end neccessarily but it also pinged me.

A great starting point IMO is to figure out whether the hydra slot is town or not. Hydra slots are very +EV for town in my experience if you can be sure they actually randed town.

so this is pretty much my first time playing in a hydra game. is this traditionally because there’s two brains behind the same slot?
anyway so frog has a few fluffposts, but this is his first real game-related post. he outlines that his goal today is to determine whether the hydra (singular?) is town.

Hmm. Basically I am feeling that the hydra slot is town. I can’t put any weight on it because it’s nothing more than a vibe read and I don’t value those very much. If I get a couple more pings it could turn into an intuitive read though and I put a little bit more value in that.

It seems to me as though you read the hydra slot and jason as TvT because of the thread state at the time of some conflict they had, specifically during the moment that one or both of them voted each other it implied that neither one had TMI. Oh I think I understand. You have a very specific gamestate read that there was a scum voting another scum in that votecount you quoted. Due to the way the hydra slot and jason voted each other as well as some good posts in their ISOs you are confident that they are TvT. Is that a better summary?

Basically where my head is at right now: I’ve read posts only 300 - 600 (lol) because I’m noob with these site features and it was easiest to just scroll up on my phone. I’m going to try to maximize my read % while minimizing the amount of stress I take on and to me that starts with figuring out whether or not I can trust the hydra. I’m feeling based on intuition that the hydra is town and no one is really doing anything to stop me. If you don’t think I should trust the hydra then now is the best time to intervene. That’s where I’m at and I’m gonna take a little break from the thread now.

frog basically decides to dip now (okay there have been an overwhelming amount of posts, fair). he’s still focused on “solving the hydra.” this is fine, I guess my personal qualm is that, if you look at beatings 4, frog posted wayyy more detailed thoughts/substantiated reads than what he has this game.

Yo I finally just finished processing my beef with you from that lylo we played. I believe that it made sense that I became frustrated and lashed out over your treatment of my slot; I don’t believe that the aggression or intensity were justified at all. I’m very sorry about the AtE. I can’t promise that I won’t be angry and aggressive–in fact I can guarantee you I will–but I can promise to tone it down a couple notches and remove myself from the thread when I feel like I can’t control the tilt.

On top of that, for what it’s worth, if anything, I do feel like I understand better where you were going with your solve and I can have respect for your reads. I feel like there was an element where you were onto Hippo who had me pocketed and I was onto Leafia who had you pocketed and they were using it against us. So again I can’t promise to not get tilted and lash out because the game is designed to create those situations; we were brought to that lylo together for a reason, what I can promise though is to tone it down a touch and ghost the thread to calm down if necessary.

this is frog’s more recent post. absolutely wild to me that he’s actually responding to eve pointing out that another hydra exists and just. not acknowledging this at all?? instead he goes to apologize to jason for how beatings ended. I found the apology really wholesome and the entire “processing my beef with you” was funny to me in the moment. I think it would be easy to read this as agendaed with a level of pocketing, and part of me does somewhat read it like that, but I also do think it’s genuine as an apology. it’s more suspicious to me that he just didn’t mention the second hydra despite responding to the post haha.
