I think it feels very genuine, since meow is a player who likes to townread everyone and often has trouble coming up with scumreads. I think the thought process is:

jason is, partially accurate here? I think my full thought process that I didn’t feel like writing out was like.
jason is townreading us and the explanation is literally just vibes. this kinda sets off my personal red flags when it’s coming from people I normally play with. jason never actually explained why he was townreading us earlier, just that he was baiting our tunnels. so I want closure on what his conclusions were and why. but also, I remember that I thought jason is probably just town [off a bunch of posting reasons I can elaborate on if you really want me to], so like probably his reasoning for townreading us is fine & good & does it really matter. but also I am curious and slightly confused. my expected answer from jason was that gummy was just towny enough to make up for me “failing” his reaction test (I have so many thoughts on why you didn’t bait me properly jason. the best bait you’ve done this game on me was literally that most recent townread)
anyway jason’s response was good I think. I am willing to buy a townread on us because of our “disjointedness.” also you finding it amusing is a good sign also – that is somewhat how I feel whenever you d1 tunnel on me. endearing

it was like one post with one line, so it didn’t seem especially serious, but that was actually kind of what pinged me, because in the past when i as mafia against him i could barely keep him from breathing down my neck - and yet at most i get one tossed off line here. i think if the paranoia were genuine he would be giving me a tougher time.
at the same time tho it’s a day 1 read and def the stuff about tutuu being defensive as town rings true, i have a lot of respect for his towngame so i’m not gonna try to murder him unless i’m really confident on it

I couldn’t make sense of why you would be posting like that & didn’t have the brainspace to think very hard about what your motivation would be (and you revealed before I got home and had time to think so like). like your reaction to my initial noticing you townread us was like you knew I was going to react like that not a “slip” on tmi or whatever & I was too busy to interrogate you beyond just pointing it out. also any townreads red flags on me this game are slightly filtered because gummy sounds very town to me (I’m biased), so I can understand a townread on our slot from qbcorders for that reason

I am going to copy catbae’s homework and also make a reads-based longpost before I log off for the day. I think I’m kind of the opposite of meow in that I find it very hard to safely townread people and tend to qualify and add asterisks to my own reads so I don’t get blindsided later. My goal here is to limit that and make strong opinions but also my impression thus far is that this playerlist is full of good players so…if I’m being dumb let it happen I don’t care anymore we’re in the ego death era of the Dia Fiasco experience

hm just as a thought i tend to type whatever comes to my brain first and i’m not huge on revising what i say or workshopping it or anything, i just press enter and go so i like my posts to reflect my natural thought process which means it will invariably mean sometimes i get a ping thought and then be like oh yeah i should update that accordingly but i won’t delete my previous thought. so i just read, react, and move on in whatever flow feels natural
what i mean by the first half is that i have a tendency to be a vote magnet on day 1 for at least a good 12-24 hours.

the jason read is apart from that. if i recall correctly 1-I was souring on some of the thoughts that he presented, especially towards melatonin (who i’m townreading if that wasn’t clear by when i made a note of my thoughts towards gummy and meow’s posting, although admittedly i’m feeling stronger town vibes from gummy rather than meow but perhaps this is my i’m-deathly-afraid-of-meow bias), then 2-he walks back on it with reasoning that made me go :/ then 3- his tone just feels off, his willigness to tag along the beancat vote came a little too easily imo coming from a qbcord perspective since we don’t really. yeet people off to get them to talk.

I think also the surprise is natural given that kii really HAS not played in so long that at least the first expression of ?? would feel more natural. although yeah fair I 1) don’t like strong d1 reads and will refuse to be cooperative generally if forced to so if you try to yank me i’m not going to be too happy and 2) i’ll admit my reads are weak. to the second part: :blanketblob:

on the same quote, regarding tutuu, I do agree in the way that he doesn’t talk very substantively. pretty sure i mentioned that earlier. admittedly a bit hypocritical of me to say but I also kinda thought he would be. doing. more reads i guess as opposed to all the effort that went into finding out who the alt player was + other things that I forget but did happen but didn’t stand out to me as much because there wasn’t a 60 post long discussion on it. not a scumread from my end neccessarily but it also pinged me.

i don’t post that much it might just be over-estimated on qbcord because 1) you can vertical post there as opposed to discourse, and since I just type whatever i think and hit the enter button (and if i’m mafia you know i just pull things out of my ass on the spot), it tends to get very vertical post-y and 2) I was busy earlier, as (I think?) you know and i’m losing my mind slowly. although i can tell you i spent 1 hour straight writing those earlier posts alone, on qbcord it would probably just be a ton of vertical spam. so for what it’s worth, at least fmpov, it’s not like i’m not providing things for you to read off of. Oh, and secondarily, yeah I’m not clearing dia in any way either. Nothing I’ve seen them do feels out of their wolfrange.

Soweli had kind of a bad start to me but I can attribute most of this to being pro-Jason, a stance I do not share. I think she’s been on the side of good information for town so far. I also said this exact same thing last game when she was 3P but at least she was townsiding 3P so it wasn’t bullshit
Willow has exclusively talked about mechanics I do not take deducing that my bullshit fake claim was bullshit to be alignment indicative it seems like she’s got a very strong background in setup shit so I just hit her special interest landmine
I don’t really like the direction Frost has gone today and do not see how Jason/Melatonin is definitely T/T. I’m actually struggling to see where a W/W pair exists in here (which was his primary hypothesis). That doesn’t necessarily make him wolf (I just disagree with his conclusion), but otherwise I’m confused
Carbon and Hippo have both not been posting very good and had the least satisfying / most boring backread journeys of the day by a fair margin. Hippo’s Eve vote also looks worse than I thought it did upon thinking about it some more (he’s also still voting Eve).
